PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Create a typographic system that functions as a poster for an event honoring an assigned person. The poster is meant to demonstrate the accomplishments and significance of the person while effectively communicating the details of the event.
My assigned figure, Ezzard Charles, was an iconic boxer from Cincinnati. Nicknamed "The Cincinnati Cobra", Ezzard was one of the most influential boxers of his time.

COLOR PALLETE
These colors were selected to help portray the idea of comic punch symbolism in pop art.
TYPOGRAPHY
I chose Acumin Variable Concept for the body text because its clean and versatile structure creates a strong contrast against the more expressive typography used for Ezzard Charles’ name.
